One of the most well-known educational theories came from Benjamin Bloom. In 1956, Bloom published Bloom's Taxonomy of the Cognitive Domain. Bloom's taxonomy is a framework for classifying levels of instruction along a continuum moving from simple to complex in order to categorize educational goals and objectives.
