How do I configure Chrome to accept third-party cookies from CourseArc?

Google Chrome includes privacy settings that allow you to control how websites use cookies. Cookies are small pieces of data that websites use to remember information, such as login sessions and user preferences.

When CourseArc content is accessed through a learning management system (LMS), Chrome's third-party cookie settings may occasionally prevent content from loading or functioning correctly.

If you experience problems accessing CourseArc content, follow the steps below to allow third-party cookies for CourseArc without changing your privacy settings for all websites.

Allow Third-Party Cookies for CourseArc

1. Open Google Chrome.
   
   

2. Click the More button (three vertical dots) in the upper-right corner and select Settings.
   
   

3. Select Privacy and security from the left navigation.
   
   

4. Select Third-party cookies.
   
   

5. Scroll to Sites allowed to use third-party cookies and click Add.
   
   

6. In the Site field, enter [*.]coursearc.com.
   
   

7. Click Add to save the exception.
   
   

8. Return to CourseArc and reload the page.

Note: The [*.] prefix allows third-party cookies for coursearc.com and its subdomains. If you access CourseArc through an LMS, you may also need to add your institution's LMS domain to the exceptions list. Use the exact website domain provided by your institution.

Still Having Trouble?

If CourseArc content still does not load or function correctly:

• Check whether Chrome is displaying a third-party cookie notification or requesting permission for embedded content.

• If prompted to allow trusted embedded CourseArc content to access its saved information, select Allow.

• If you are using a school- or organization-managed device, contact your IT administrator. Some browser settings may be controlled by your institution.

If the issue continues, contact your institution's CourseArc administrator or CourseArc Support for additional assistance.
