How do I configure Microsoft Edge to accept third-party cookies from CourseArc?

Microsoft Edge includes privacy settings that allow you to control how websites use cookies. Cookies are small pieces of data that websites use to remember information, such as login sessions and user preferences.

When CourseArc content is accessed through a learning management system (LMS), Edge's cookie and tracking-prevention settings may occasionally prevent content from loading or functioning correctly.

If you experience problems accessing CourseArc content, follow the steps below to allow cookies for CourseArc without changing your privacy settings for all websites.

Allow Cookies for CourseArc

1. Open Microsoft Edge.

2. Click the Settings and more button (three horizontal dots) in the upper-right corner and select Settings.

3. Select Privacy, search, and services from the menu on the left.

4. Select Cookies.

5. Scroll to Sites allowed to save cookies and click Add site.

6. In the Site field, enter https://coursearc.com.

7. If an Include third-party cookies on this site option is displayed, select it.

8. Click Add to save the exception.

9. Return to CourseArc and reload the page.

Note: If you access CourseArc through an LMS, you may also need to add your institution's LMS domain to the allowed sites list. Use the exact website domain provided by your institution.

Still Having Trouble?

If CourseArc content still does not load or function correctly:

• Check whether Edge displays a notification requesting permission to access cookies or site data. If prompted, allow access for trusted CourseArc content.

• Check whether Tracking prevention is set to Strict. This setting may interfere with some embedded content. If necessary, contact your institution's IT administrator for assistance with a site-specific exception.

• If you are using a school- or organization-managed device, some browser settings may be controlled by your institution.
