The block Clipboard lets content creators copy individual blocks and paste them onto any course page, eliminating the need to rebuild the same content from scratch. This saves time on repetitive block configuration and helps maintain a consistent look and feel across courses.
Adding to the Clipboard
- Navigate to a page containing the block you want to add to the Clipboard. Select Edit this Page to put the page in edit mode.
- Editable blocks appear with a red, dotted outline.

- Click the block you want to copy, then select Copy to Clipboard from the pop-up menu.

- A confirmation notification appears, indicating the block has been copied to the Clipboard.

Pasting from the Clipboard
- Navigate to the page where you want to paste a block. Select Edit this Page to put the page in edit mode
- Click the Add Block (plus sign) where you want the block to appear.

- Select Paste from Clipboard from the pop-up menu.

- In the Paste from Clipboard modal, select the block you want to add to the page.

- The block appears on the page with a red, dotted outline, indicating it is editable.

Deleting a Block from your Clipboard
- To delete a block from the block Clipboard, click the trash can icon to the right of the block name.
