Some CourseArc content blocks will accept MathML Equation code in the content fields. To generate, copy and paste math equation code into a block of content, complete the following steps.
Note: In order to use the Equation Editor you must have the Equation Editor role assigned to your CourseArc user account. Contact your CourseArc System Administrator to request this role.
Go to the Equation Editor page view
To generate the math code for an equation, go to the Equation Editor page.
Create a math equation
Use the equation editor to create an equation. As the equation is created, the corresponding code is auto-generated in the field below the equation. When the equation is configured, click the Copy to Clipboard button.
Paste the code into a block
This example shows the math equation code pasted into the Back: field of the Flashcards block.

Bookmarklet
Chrome users can install a bookmarklet for easier math editing. The bookmarklet enables a bookmark in the Chrome toolbar to launch the equation editor and then insert the code created into the active block field. To install the bookmarklet, navigate to the Equation Editor view and drag the +CourseArc Equation button into the Chrome bookmarks bar.
Once the bookmarklet is installed, open a block that needs to be configured with a mathematical expression. Click in the text-based field that needs to be configured with the mathematical expression.
Click the + Course Equation bookmark.
Create the equation, and then click the Insert into Field button to automatically add the code to the field selected in the content block (Flashcards block Front: field).
