Note: The Google Classroom integration must be set up with CourseArc and your Google Workspace Administrator before CourseArc content can be used in a Google Classroom.


Access and Complete Activities

  1. In your Google Chrome browser, go to Google Classroom and select your course.

 

  1. Select the Classwork tab, then select the assignment.

  1. Select the name of the assignment to open the activity; it will open in a new tab.

  1. Use the page links in the left navigation or the page arrows at the bottom of the page to navigate through the activities.

  1. In the left navigation area, circles by the page names will fill in once you view the page. You can use these circles to pick up where you leave off if you do not complete the entire set of activities at once.   

 

  1. If you are using a mobile phone or tablet to view the activities, you may not see the left navigation menu. Select the three lines in the top left corner and the left navigation menu will pop open.

  1. At the bottom of the page, you will see one of two displays. 

 

    1. You may see a progress bar with a percent that tells you the percent of the total pages you have completed with a Score and a ‘More Information’ link.

Select the ‘More Information’ link to see more details about each page or activity. A green checkmark or red ‘x’ indicates whether or not the page or activity has been completed. A score will also be listed letting you know how many points you have earned out of the points possible. 

 

Depending on the course settings, you may or may not see scores for each page. 

 

A dash (-) indicates an unscored item. You still need to complete unscored items to complete the page and set of activities.

    1. If your view did not match what was described in part a, you will see a progress bar with a percent that tells you the percent of the total pages you have completed and a ‘See What’s Left’ link.

Select the ‘See What’s Left’ link to see more details for each page and activity. A green checkmark or red ‘x’ indicate whether or not the page or activity has been completed.

  1. You may see an Overview page or a page with an Activities table. This table will appear similar to the previous tables and it will also indicate the Estimated Time you can expect to spend working on each page. You may also see an Assignments column.

  1. Work your way through each page, completing all activities until you are 100% Completed and all pages have green checkmarks. 

 

  1. On the last page of the lesson, you will see a button to Turn In your assignment for grading. The exact words on this button may look different for you. Select that button to turn your work in to your teacher.
