The file manager has a limit of 3500 pixels width and height for images. Any image larger than this will need to be resized before being uploaded to the file manager.

Resize an image on Mac OS using Preview
1. Open the image in Preview
- Find your image. Right-click or Control + click, and choose Open with > Preview. This will open the image for editing in the Preview application.
2. Open the size adjustment settings
- Once the image is open in Preview, select the Tools option in the main menu bar. Then select Adjust Size.
3. Adjust the image size
- In the Adjust Size area, make sure pixels are set as the measurement type, and make sure the Scale proportionally checkbox is selected. Note that the maximum height and/or width for the file manager is 3500 pixels. Make sure that both the height and width are no larger than 3500 pixels.
3. Save the image
- Once your image is the correct size, select the OK button to save your image.
Resize an image on Widows OS using Photos
1. Edit the image.
- Find your image, right-click, and choose Edit. This will open the image for editing in the Paint application.
2. Resize the Image.
- Once Paint launches, select the Resize option in the Home tab.
3. Choose a Size.
- Select the Pixels option and make sure that the Maintain aspect ratio checkbox is checked. Set the desired height or width for the image. Note that the maximum height and/or width for the file manager is 3500 pixels. Make sure that both the height and width are no larger than 3500 pixels.
4. Save.
- Once your image is the correct size, select the Save icon in the upper left corner of the app to save your image.
4. Save the Resized Image.
- After resizing, choose Save a copy to avoid overwriting the original.
