The Copy function duplicates a module into a user-designated course and keeps the source module in its original location.  


Only System Administrators, Course Administrators, or Course Leaders can copy a module to another course.

  1. Navigate to the Manage Course: view that includes the module that needs to be copied.
  2. To copy a module, click the module's Action dropdown in the Manage column.

  3. Select Copy.

  4. The Copy Module dialog will appear. Choose the course to copy the module to by enabling the corresponding radio button and click the Copy button.

  5. After the module is copied, a confirmation message appears at the top of the Manage Course: view. To see the copied module, navigate to the course selected in the previous step.
