How is content organized in CourseArc?

Modified on Thu, 24 Feb, 2022 at 5:37 PM

CourseArc organizes content using a hierarchical structure consisting of courses, modules, and pages.

At the top level, there are courses.

Courses contain modules.

Modules contain pages.

Note: Module is CourseArc's default term for this second level of organization. A different term such as lesson, session, or any custom term can be configured in the Edit Course view of any course. For additional information, refer to How do I organize content in a course?.

Pages display content to learners.

Content on a page is built using one or more CourseArc blocks. There are more than 35 blocks to choose from that can be used in any combination on any page.

In the following examples, an Image block, a Content block, and an Icon and Text block are used to explain the storyboarding process.
