How do I use the Change URL option?

When editing the settings for an existing course, module, or page, the URL Stub: field is read-only by default.

The URL Stub: field is read-only so that course-related URLs are not changed inadvertently—breaking any existing links to courses, modules, or pages.

The URL Stub: field displays with a gray background to indicate that the field is not editable.

If the URL Stub: for a course, module, or page, needs to be changed, select the Change URL button to turn on editing for the URL Stub: field. Edit the URL Stub: field as needed.

Select the Submit button at the bottom of the Edit Course view to save the changes made to the URL Stub: field.
