How does a student view their progress and performance?

Learners can track their progress through a CourseArc module and, when grading is enabled, view their current performance. The information displayed depends on whether the course uses cumulative grading or participation tracking. 

Note: These features are only available to organizations that have student tracking turned on

Cumulative Grading 

When cumulative grading is enabled, learners can view both their completion progress and current score.

Learners can track their progress in the following ways: 

1. Page completion indicators: In the left navigation panel, an indicator next to each page name shows which pages the learner has visited. On smaller screens, learners can select the hamburger menu icon in the upper-left corner to open the navigation. 
2. Progress and score: At the bottom of each page, a progress bar shows the percentage of the module completed along with the learner's current score. 
3. Detailed progress: Learners can select More Information to view completion and scoring details for each page and activity in the module. 
4. Sync score: Select Sync Score to update grades in the gradebook.

Participation Tracking

When participation tracking is enabled, learners can track how much of the module they have completed. Scores are not displayed.

Learners can track their progress in the following ways:

1. Page completion indicators: In the left navigation panel, an indicator next to each page name shows which pages the learner has visited. On smaller screens, learners can select See What's Left to view their progress.
2. Module progress: At the bottom of each page, a progress bar shows the percentage of the module completed.
3. Detailed progress: Learners can select See What's Left to view the completion status of each page and activity in the module.
4. Sync score: Select Sync Score to update grades in the gradebook.

Viewing Completed Activities

After completing an activity, learners can view their submitted responses. Whether they can attempt the activity again depends on whether retries are enabled.

Retries not enabled: Learners can view their submitted responses but cannot retry the activity.
