Use one of the following options to add a PowerPoint to a page of content in CourseArc.


Option 1: Converting to a PDF

  1. Convert the PPT to a PDF file and then upload the file and create a link to the presentation
  2. The PDF file is most likely not going to meet WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility guidelines, so be sure you include a transcript with your file


Option 2: Using SlideShare via LinkedIn

  1. Login to your LinkedIn profile.

  2. Go to https://www.slideshare.net/ and select the Upload button.

  3. Upload the presentation.

  4. Once the presentation has uploaded, complete the following fields:
    • Enter the title.

    • Write a brief summary in the Description field.
    • Select the appropriate category from the Category dropdown.
    • Choose Public from the Privacy dropdown.
      Note: The presentation is not shareable unless Privacy is set to Public.
    • Add tags to make the presentation searchable (optional).
  5. Select the Publish button.

  6. Once the video has been published, click the Share button and copy the embed code.

  7. Go to the page in CourseArc where the SlideShare needs to be added. Add a new HTML block and paste in the code. Click the Add+ button.

  8.  The presentation will now be visible to students.
