How do I import quizzes from QTI packages?

The Quiz Banks tool can import QTI packages (.xml) into a quiz bank. The question types that can be imported via QTI are:

• Multiple choice single answer
• Multiple choice multiple answer
• Text input (unchecked)
• Matching

CourseArc supports the IMS Question and Test Interoperability (QTI) specification version 1.2.

1. From the Dashboard view, select Quiz Banks from the Tools menu.
   
   
2. The Quiz Banks view will display showing existing quiz banks.
   
   
3. Click Add Bank and select QTI Import.
   
   
4. Import QTI File view displays.
   
   
5. Select a quiz bank. 
   
6. Select Choose File.
   
   
7. Select the QTI file (.xml) to import and click Open.
   
   
8. Click Import.
   
   
9. Questions from the XML file are added to the quiz bank.
   
   QTI-imported question details
