Newer versions of Safari are available in macOS updates and the App Store for use in previous macOS releases. It is recommended to install and maintain the latest compatible version of Safari for each macOS version. To determine the most-recent version of Safari that your macOS supports, refer to this Version Compatibility chart.

Safari 13.0.5 or later must be installed. The oldest macOS release that supports Safari 13 is macOS 10.13 High Sierra. 


Verify Safari Version

  1. Launch Safari and select About Safari from the Safari dropdown.
  2. Verify that Safari is version 13.0.5 or later.


Configure Safari Preferences - Safari 13

  1. Select Safari > Preferences... .
  2. Click the Privacy icon and uncheck the Prevent cross-site tracking and Block all cookies settings. Apple Pay and Apple Card may be configured as needed. 
  3. Restart Safari.



Configure Safari Preferences - Safari 15

  1. Select Safari > Preferences....

  2. Click the Privacy icon and uncheck the Prevent cross-site tracking, Block all cookies, and Allow privacy-preserving measurement of ad effectiveness settings. 
  3. Restart Safari.
