What are quiz question analytics?

Quiz Question Analytics display learner response data for quiz questions. Both content creators and instructors can view this data, with some differences in scope.


Supported question types:

  • Multiple choice (single answer)
  • Multiple choice (multiple answer)
  • True/False


Content creators (via CourseArc) see aggregated data across all course sections, including cumulative results over time.


Instructors (via LMS) see data filtered by individual course section.


Note: Quiz analytics data will reset when a Quiz or Quiz Bank Quiz block is edited.


Instructor View (LMS)

The Analytics button appears in the top-right corner of any page containing a Quiz or Quiz Bank Quiz block with a supported question type. Select it to toggle the analytics view on or off.


When enabled, instructors can see quiz response data for all students enrolled in their course section.

Content Creator View (CourseArc)

When enabled, content creators can see response data for all students who have completed the quiz, compiled across every course and section that uses the same Quiz or Quiz Bank Quiz.
