For guidance on correcting grade discrepancies, refer to How do I sync learner scores when CourseArc scores are different than what is in my gradebook?.
Instructors have two options to adjust student scores: score reset and score override. Score reset allows a student to redo an activity to earn a new score. Score override allows an instructor to change the points awarded for a completed activity. Both options are available in the instructor view for cumulatively scored courses via the Student Progress & Performance dashboard.
Score Reset
The score reset feature removes all previous student attempts for an activity allowing the student to retry the activity for a new score. This option is useful for quizzes that are set to not allow retries if an instructor needs to allow a student to make another attempt.
Score resets are done within the corresponding course on a per-student basis using the Student Progress & Performance dashboard.
Click the Students' Progress & Performance tab in the upper left corner of the instructor course view to access the Student Progress & Performance dashboard.
From the dashboard, click the More Info button for the student that needs a score reset.
Click the Reset button for the activity that needs a score reset.
Click Yes to confirm the score reset.

Score Override
Instructors can assign a score manually for any activity using the Override button.
Click the Students' Progress & Performance tab in the upper left corner of the instructor course view to access the Student Progress & Performance dashboard.
From the dashboard, click the More Info button for the student that needs a score override.
Click the Override button for the activity that needs the score override.
Enter the score to assign to the activity and click the Save button.
